At the end of the season you look it up rather than remember it.
This is the step you quote from next year. Not from what you remember, but from what actually happened.
Revenue broken down by school, class and album
You look at revenue, the number of orders and the average order value: across the whole season, for one school, for one class, or even for a single album.
You see it over time as well, which week ordering picked up and when it stopped. That is what tells you how long it is worth keeping the shop open, and when sending a reminder makes sense.
You also see how long people take to pay
The average time from order to payment can be broken down by payment method. If you know a bank transfer runs several days slower than a card, you can set your deadlines around it.
Every order shows where it has got to
Waiting for payment, in production, finished, dispatched. No separate spreadsheet to keep about what is where, and nothing to hunt through when somebody asks about theirs.
How long it stays open
You decide how long the albums stay reachable. Delivery methods can be timed separately: you can close delivery to the school on a given date while post and parcel lockers stay available for repeat orders.
So the shop can stay open past the single delivery you agreed with the school, without you having to drive out there a second time.
Let us look at the numbers from a finished season together.
We will show you what you would see after one school, and what you would see at the end.
